Following the previous upgrades, managed by Upright Management; to the Parkes Regional Airport which have included runway and lighting upgrades and the construction of the new Terminal building, we are now moving onto the next phase identified in Councils original master plan and that is to facilitate investment within the Parkes Regional Airport precinct by upgrading access to commercial hangar sites flagged for new businesses.
Upright is managing the process to ensure that the subdivision for the precinct is in line with best practice and industry requirements to enable growth to this viable asset, along with the responsibility for the documentation, tendering and delivery of infrastructure upgrades:

Upgrade to taxiway B which connects existing runway to apron.

Upgrade of airside apron A.

Construction of apron A extension.

Construction of Taxi Lane A.

Construction of new Taxi Lane B to provide access to existing and proposed hangars.

Connection of services to commercial hangar precinct including sewer, water and electricity.

Detention basin and/or associated drainage infrastructure.
