Stage one of Western Care Lodge in Orange, was valued at $3 million, and will provide accommodation and support for rural patients receiving treatment at the new Orange Hospital.

 

The project included accommodation for 13 rural patients and their carers within 1 bedroom self-contained units. There is also a self-contained managers unit, and a separate communal kitchen and laundry facility. A central wing will contain administration, lounge and library facilities.

 

The project included installation of new infrastructure and services connections including power, water and sewer along with road and car park construction.
